PASASALAMAT SA MGA NAGSIPAGDALO SA ‘2013 GRAND ALUMNI REUNION AND HOMECOMING’ mula kay Gilberto M. Carolino, President-VHSAFI

As I said in my ‘Welcome Speech,” I was overwhelmed by the huge turn-out last Saturday, February 9. It was a record attendance with 1,183 ticket holders giving their all to make our get-together truly an Affair to Remember.

I would like to make special mention of our colleagues who crossed seas to be a part of celebration. I would like to extend my apology to those people who have been solidly behind our organization, but whose names I failed to mention to acknowledge their untiring support and contributions. VHSAFI is what it is now because of You. Marami pong salamat.

That evening, I mentioned the many FIRSTs that were achieved --- record attendance, unprecedented six-honoree batches, huge faculty force (retired and active) of 54 (headed by the incumbent Principal Dolores H. Torcuator and her administrative staff), souvenir program, etc. Ask those who won cash prizes of P20,000.00 and P16,000.00 and one would get an idea how grand the celebration was. I have to mention these FIRSTs, hindi upang magyabang o magmalaki, but to acknowledge the efforts of various teams who really worked hard to ensure the success of the celebration.

Bilang pagtatapos, ako ay dumudulog muli sa inyo na tayo ay magkaisa-- “Let’s embrace each other, let’s encourage each other, let’s nurture and strengthen our organization. Nag-iisa lang itong Villamor High School Alumni Foundation, Inc. na itinatag ni Dr. Rex Barbosa.”

God bless us all….Gilberto M. Carolino ’62, President-VHSAFI
